7th Year visa stamping if new employer hasn’t started the GC process

I have an approved I140 (from a consulting company). My 7th year extension is for different employer (full time) who hasn't started my GC process yet. I am not sure if old employer revoked the I-140 or not. Is it safe to go for visa stamping considering I am in 7th year of H1b, and my new employer hasn't started the GC process yet?

As long as your petition is valid, you can go for visa stamping. Visa stamping has nothing to do with your GC process.
